Friends of New Britain Public Library Hosting Fall Book Sale

“It’s almost here,” say Friends of New Britain Public Library, “the long-awaited Fall Book Sale sponsored by the Friends of the New Britain Public Library.”

“Thanks to generous donations from our patrons,” the organization says, “we offer lots of great reads for all ages. If you happen to be in the library over the next few weeks, stop by the display cases which highlight some of the selections available at the Sale.”

Friends of the New Britain Public Library says that the sale is planned to be from October 17th to 19th, 2024 in the Library’s Community Room. The dates are to be,

  • Thursday, October 17th, 10:00am to 2:00pm “(Preview Day), $10 pp admission, free to Friends’ members).”
  • Friday, October 18th, 10:00am to 4:00pm “(Free admission). Also, look for great deals in select categories.”
  • Saturday, October 19the, 10:00am to 2:00pm “(Free admission). All day bag sale – $10/- bag, our bag.”

Pricing, the organization says, “Excludes specially priced books, vinyls, DVDs and CDs.,” adding that, “We accept all major credit cards ($5/- minimum charge). All proceeds benefit the New Britain Public Library.”
