Consolidated School District of New Britain to hold Back to School Bash Tonight!

Tonight, Wednesday, August 24 from 5 – 7 PM, in Walnut Hill Park, New Britain’s school children, their friends, and family are invited to celebrate the new school year, which starts on Monday August29.  The Consolidated School District of New Britain, in partnership with Whitsons and the New Britain Parks and Recreation Department, will sponsor a Welcome Back to School Bash, behind the Music Shell. Whitsons will be serving free food throughout the evening while the Parks and Recreation Department will be providing inflatables and other entertainment. Free backpacks, which were donated by Costco, will be distributed. The Consolidated School District of New Britain will be handing out free school supplies and water bottles.
