The New Britain Police Department and the New Britain Police Athletic League (PAL) are hosting a Thanksgiving meal for members of the community who are in need.
“Volunteers from NB PAL and the NBPD, will be serving traditional Thanksgiving food items along with specialty Latin cuisine,” said a promotion from event organizers. “Any member or family of our community that is in need is welcomed to attend.”
The Thanksgiving Day lunch will be on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23, 2017 begining at 11:00am. It will continue until 1:30pm or food runs out.
“This lunch is a great opportunity for members of our community and the police department to share a holiday meal,” event organizers said.
The meal will be served in the Police Department Community Room, in the New Britain Police Station at 10 Chestnut Street.
Donations of food and supplies, making this Thanksgiving meal for those in need possible come from the New Britain Police Department, New Britain PAL, The Tomasso Group, Whitsons Food Services, Costco, Borinquen Bakery, Staropolska Restaurant and others.
