2018 New Britain Little Poland Festival to Be April 29
The Polonia Business Association‘s 2018 Little Poland Festival will be held on April 29, 2018.
New Britain’s Little Poland Festival is a huge celebration of Polish culture, music and cuisine held annually each spring since 2011. As many as 20,000 people from across Connecticut and beyond have joined New Britain residents in the community celebration on Broad Street.
The Polonia Business Association says that its,
annual Little Poland Festival has grown from a few hundred to tens of thousands of festival attendees. Each year we strive to make our festival bigger and better.
The Festival’s website says that,
With leaping folk dancers, live music, arts and crafts, unique shopping, amazing food, costumed characters, carnival rides and activities for the young and young at heart, the Little Poland Festival is one of the fastest growing family friendly festivals of its kind in Connecticut. And the best part? Admission is only a smile.
The 2018 Festival will feature live entertainment on two stages, over 70 booths with arts, crafts and souvenirs, a beer garden and, of course, delicious Polish food. “Fun for the whole family,” says the Festival’s organizers.
The event schedule on the Festival’s Main Stage, Główna Scena, includes,

- 10:50am – Olivia Rutkowski
- 11:00am – RBO Polka Band
- 11:30am – Polish Language School
- 11:50am – Polish Scout Organization
- 12:00pm – Kasia Kordek
- 12:10pm – Miss Polonia and guest
- 12:30pm – Polish Language School performing Patriotic dances for 100 years of Poland’s Independence
- 1:00pm – Official Opening Ceremonies
- 1:30pm – Zespół Góralski ZOR of Clifton NJ
- 2:15pm – Lori Ann Body Construct
- 2:30pm – RBO Polka Band
- 3:00pm – Polania Dance Troupe
- 4:40pm – Pączki eating contest
- 5:15pm – Olejniczak & Guest
- 5:30pm – Polish American Foundation Raffle
- 6:15pm – Kasia Kordek
The events on Stage 2, Scena 2, all day, include, Raspberry Goats with Ola Majka and guests and DYM and guests.
There will also be a special appearance of the Rich Badowski Blues Band at Belvedere Restaurant.
Festival organizers have also announced that that hours of the 2018 Festival have been extended to 7:00pm. The festival will be held between the hours of 10:00am and 7:00pm.
