The St. Joachim Catholic Parish will be holding a “Warm Me Up” collection drive to be held on February 5, 2018.
The Parish says that the RCIA collection drive is, “To serve others by providing them what they need this winter season to stay warm,” inspiring people with the words of Acts20:35 “I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.'”
The drive will take place in the Parish Hall at 544 Main Street, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
Suggested items include hats, gloves, scarves, socks, blankets, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and soup.
