Council Calls for a Presentation on the Property Tax Revaluation Process and Effects
Ald. Francisco Santiago (D-5) has announced that the City Council will hold presentation on February 14, 2018 on the property tax revaluation that the city has just conducted. He encourages residents to come to the meeting to ask questions and express concerns about the process.
At the presentation, City Assessor’s office will explain about what a property tax revaluation is, how it is carried out and the results of the process.
The presentation is set to occur at the next Council meeting, on February 14th, at 7:05pm.
Public participation for the Council meeting will begin at 7:00pm. Ald. Santiago’s press release says that, “During this time, all residents with concerns or questions are encouraged to attend and participate.”
The meeting will be in the Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall at 27 West Main Street.
