Statewide Democratic Candidates’ Forum to be Held in New Britain Mar 15th
A “Meet the Candidates Forum” will be will be held in New Britain on March 15th, allowing people to meet and ask questions of Democratic candidates running for statewide offices, such as governor.
With the 2018 statewide elections drawing closer, candidates across the state from both parties are testing the waters and building campaign organizations in the hopes of running for different offices up for election.
Statewide officers, positions elected by the entire state, include governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of the state, state treasurer, state comptroller and attorney general. Other offices to be elected in 2018 include U.S. senator, U.S. representative, state senator and state representative.
People in New Britain have already been discussing the upcoming statewide elections, as Republican Mayor Erin Stewart is considering running as a Republican candidate for governor. The forum on March 18th will feature candidates on the Democratic side.

The candidates forum will be held from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at the Pulaski Club, which is located at 89 Grove Street.
