The New Britain City Council and New Britain Board of Education will hold a joint meeting regarding the Board of Education’s requested budget.
The meeting will be held on March 22, 2018, at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers in City Hall, on the second floor.
A press release from the Council President Pro-Tempore, Ald. Eva Magnuszewski (D-AL), the leader of the Council, says the schools Superintendent Nancy Sarra will be make a budget presentation at the meeting.
Magnuszewski’s press release points out that, “At the beginning of this session there will be a public participation portion. During this time, all residents with concerns or questions regarding the Board of Education requested budget are encouraged to attend and participate.”
The official call of the meeting was issued by Magnuszewski on March 9th. It is at least the second time she has, as President Pro-Tempore, officially called the City Council to a meeting.
