Sun Shines on Little Poland for 2018 Festival
The morning’s rain broke and blue skies and sun came out to greet the thousands of people who gathered for the 2018 Little Poland Festival on April 29, 2018.
The Festival, which has been held annually each spring since 2011 continued the successful attendance that it has grown to in just a few years.
New Britain’s people came together to celebrate Polish culture, music, dancing and cuisine. They were joined by many people from across the state and region to what has become one of the premiere Polish cultural festivals.
People driving in the city could be heard asking for directions to the Festival, as Broad Street became the place to be for thousands of people.
Traditional dancing, music and other performances could be seen on two stages, plus at the Belvedere Restaurant.
People waited in long lines for pierogi and kielbasa, while vendors sold souvenirs and services and children thronged the festival rides at the Pulaski Club.
