“Comedians” by Trevor Griffith Opens May 18th at Hole in the Wall Theater
The Hole in the Wall Theater will present the play “Comedians” by Trevor Griffith from May 18, 2018 to June 9th.
The Theater introduces the play, saying,
Manchester 1983, the Sex Pistols are the screaming voice of a generation going nowhere but to the United vs City derby and/or back on the dole. Six working-class heroes face their final exam night in an adult education stand-up comedy class, but the bigger test is their loyalty to their teacher, to each other. God save the Queen.
The play will be presented on:
- May 18th at 8:00pm
- May 19th at 8:00pm
- May 25th at 8:00pm, which will be “Pay What You Can Night”
- May 26th at 8:00pm
- May 27th at 2:00pm
- June 1st at 8:00pm
- June 2nd at 8:00pm
- June 8th at 8:00pm
- June 9th at 8:00pm
Luis Marrero and Johnny Peifer, on the Theater’s blog say that the actors for the play will be,
Carmine Lavieri (Middletown) as Eddie Waters. Charles Willson (West Hartford) as Burt Challenor. Steven Siemiatkoski (New Britain) as Gethin Price. Alan Burkholder (Bristol) as George McBrain. Victor Tellez (New Britain) as Sammy Samuels. Jordan Wassil (New Britain) as Mick Connor. Tim Adams (New Britain) as Ged Murray. Luis Marrero (New Britain) as Phil Murray. Prerit Gupta (Hartford) and Melanie Cox (Middletown) will alternate playing Mr/Ms. Patel. Taylor Hays (Burlington) as the Caretaker. Kate Micari-Miller (Stafford) as the Concert Secretary. Billy Moro (Washington, MA) as the Pianist.
Johnny Peifer directs the play and the presentation is produced by Laurie Maria Cabral and assistant producer Thom Ozimek.
The play is stage managed by Keyshmarie Diaz of New Britain, Dawn Alguard provides light design, Kate Micari-Miller is the costume designer, Johnny Peifer provides light and sound operation and photography is by Arienne Davey.
