The North-Oak Neighborhood Revitalization Zone (NRZ) is presenting a Willow Street Park Celebration on Sunday, August 19, 2018.
The NRZ says that,
The North-Oak Neighborhood Revitalization Zone (NRZ) Committee is having a celebration of its recent accomplishments in improving the neighborhood and moving toward making it a more vibrant community.
The NRZ says that,
The event will include free food, games including a basketball tournament, music and dancing, and more. Willow Park has a Splash Pad area for children considered the largest in New England! All are welcome.
The event will be at the Willow Street Park at 43 Willow Street.
“Splash!” says the promotion for the event. The Willow Street Park is home of one of the city’s two splash pads, with a number of water features to keep cool on hot days. The park has a playground, basketball courts and a pavilion.
The Celebration will be from 12:00noon to 4:00pm.
