The 2018 annual Unity in the Community Cookout will be on Saturday, September 29th. The event is a celebration of African American culture and community, organized to bring people together in fellowship and friendship.
The 2018 event will be celebrated at A.W. Stanley Park. There will be activities at the event for children, youth and adults.
At the 2017 Unity in the Community event, people enjoyed a tasty cookout, and many took time on a relaxing summery day to enjoy the company of friends. Children and adults enjoyed family-friendly games and activities.
The event is will take place from 11:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday, September 29th.
