Meeting of North-Oak NRZ September 27
There will be a regular monthly meeting of the North-Oak NRZ September 27, 2018.
Neighborhood leaders are inviting the neighborhood to the monthly meeting to discuss issues including crime activity, opportunities in education, housing improvement opportunities and gardening affecting the North-Oak area.
The meeting will be held in the lower level of St. Ann Church. The St. Ann Church is at 47 Clark Street.
The North Oak Neighborhood Revitalization Zone (NRZ) is a community organization, formed under state law, that is committed to the social and economic progress in the North Oak region of the city.
North-Oak neighborhood residents recently celebrated the restoration of the stop signs at the corner of Allen and Carlton streets.
“We are proud to announce after a long struggle with the City of New Britain, last night the Board of Police Commissioners voted unanimously to restore the stop sign back on the corner of Carlton & Allen,” said Pablo Rodriguez on September 19th.
Rodriguez is Vice President of the North-Oak Neighborhood Revitalization Zone (NRZ) .
