The Annual Boys Basketball Fundraiser, to raise funds for the New Britain High School boys basketball program, is coming up in March.
The fundraiser has been announced by New Britain Hurricanes sports and the Consolidated School District of New Britain.
“With tournament time and March Madness right around the corner,” event organizers say, “the New Britain High School Boys basketball team would like to invite all to the 1st Annual Boys Basketball Fundraiser.”
The event is to be March 1, 2019, from 3:30pm to 8:00pm.
Tickets for the event are $20, available from coaches and at the door. A raffle, including a 50/50 is planned.
Organizers says that the event is to feature, “a buffet and cash bar with entertainment from DJ Smedley.”
The event is to be held at Roma Sports Bar & Grill at 382 Allen Street.
