Central Connecticut State University’s Blue Devils Athletics will be hosting a fundraising event tonight to benefit the athletic programs at the University.
The event, CCSU Athletics’ “annual Beer & Wine Tasting fundraiser” is sponsored by New Britain’s 5 Churches Brewing and Alvarium Beer Co. The event is promoted as featuring, “locally produced beers from all over New England and wines from around the world.”
The event is Friday, March 8, 2019, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. It is to be held at CCSU’s Memorial Hall, in the Constitution Room. CCSU is located at 1615 Stanley Street.
“The evening will feature a night of food, music, auctions, and locally produced wine and beer,” says CCSU Athletics. The event is also to include both live and silent auctions.
Admission to the fundraiser is $50, with all proceeds to go to CCSU Athletics. Tickets may be pre-purchased online at www.ccsu.edu/winetasting.
