The Consolidated School District of New Britain is inviting interested families to Kindergarten Information Night events.
“Need kindergarten information?” asks the school district, “Join us for an informational event to help parents and guardians of children entering kindergarten in the fall of 2019 to prepare for this transition.”
The school district adds, “There will be a presentation, opportunity for questions, excellent resources and information to take home.”
Topics that are to discussed include what children will learn in Kindergarten, attendance, uniforms, schedules and routines, behavior expectations, supplies and academic, as well as what to expect in the first few weeks of school.
The next Kindergarten Information Night event will be on June 5th at the New Britain Public Library. It will be from 4:30pm to 6:00pm.
Another will be held on June 6th at the YWCA, at 19 Franklin Square. That event will be from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.
The school district is asking for interested families to register to attend one of the events, and it has made an online registration form available.
