Newington Avenue and sidewalks were covered in a torrent of water for a time on Monday, as city workers responded a water main leak.
A small geyser of water could be seen on Childs Street, near the intersection with Newington Avenue.
The leak released a stream of water that flowed into a pool Charles Street near the corner of Newington Avenue.
As city water employees worked to fix the leak, police cordoned off Newington Avenue and other affected streets.
