NAACP Announces 2019 Freedom Fund Dinner
The NAACP New Britain Branch has announced its 2019 Freedom Fund Dinner, the important annual event held to support the organization’s mission.
The NAACP says that the event is its, “Annual Civil Rights Banquet to recognize Community Service, Economic Development, Lifetime Achievement and Youth Leadership Awards to chosen community recipients.”
The 2019 Freedom Fund Dinner will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the St. George Hellenic Center at 301 West Main Street.
The event will begin with a social hour at 6:00pm and a program starting at 7:00pm.
Tickets for the event are $75 per person, which includes a one year membership in the NAACP. The NAACP is seeking business and individual sponsorships for the event.
