Event organizers says that the event is, “free and open to the public,” on Friday, December 6, 2019. It is to be held from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Diaspora Society.

“Join us on the first Friday of every month for our 2019 Empowerment Series,” says the Diaspora Society about its monthly series. “We will bring you relevant topics in various formats from film viewings to discussion panels – all with the purpose of bringing a diverse crowd together for dialogue and building community.”

The Society has said that,

Diaspora is the first social club of its kind. Our focus is specifically on multiculturalism and bringing a diverse crowd together to commingle and build community. We respect and value the fact that our differences add spice to our lives.

“Come visit Diaspora, a club with a purpose!” the Society says.
