The lighting of the city Christmas tree in downtown New Britain is being planned, with an event featuring music, dancing and photos with Santa.
The event is tentatively planned to be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, December 5, 2019.
Plans are for the event to include music by DJ “B-EZ” and dancing by the YWCA Dance Club.
The main event is tentatively planned to start at 5:00pm, with the arrival of Santa Claus on a New Britain Fire truck.
The tree lighting is planned tentatively for 5:15pm, followed by the opportunity for children to have photos taken with Santa.
