‘Polar Express’ Event at First Lutheran Church

The First Lutheran Church of the Reformation and Friends are presenting their seventh annual “The Polar Express Story and Fun Live” event this weekend.

“Wear your comfy pajamas and slippers and get in the holiday spirit with music and the Polar Express short film,” event organizers invite families. “Then, be welcomed into a magical experience in a very special winter wonderland filled with music and tasty treats.”

The event will be held on both Saturday, December 7, 2019 and Sunday, December 8th. It is to be held at 5:00pm on each day at the First Lutheran Church. Event organizers ask people to arrive fifteen minutes early.

Event organizers say that, “Admission is free, though donations of winter hats, gloves and socks (especially men’s sizes) are kindly accepted. Monetary donations are also welcomed.”

“Donations immediately support local-area homeless individuals in need,” event organizers say.

“‘Top 0′ the Mountain’ Cafe will serve free coffee,” say event organizers, “hot dogs and baked goods will be offered for sale.”
