Polish Language School for Adults Enrolling for New Year
The Polish American Foundation of Connecticut (PAF), based in New Britain, has announced registration for the Polish Language School for Adults for classes starting in January.
The Foundation offers that, if learning Polish is on your New Year’s resolution list, “The Polish American Foundation can help you learn Polish in 2020.”
A Beginner Polish class of the Polish Language School for Adults, a program of the Foundation, starts on January 28, 2020.
Classes are to be Tuesdays and Thursdays for five weeks. The classes are from 6:00pm to 7:15pm. The fee is $160.
The Foundation says that the January Beginner Polish class will be held in Rocky Hill, and that those interested in registering or seeking additional information can inquire by email at [email protected].
The Polish Language School for Adults is one of the many programs of the PAF. The Foundation has said that, “Our purpose is to cultivate and promote Polish culture and immigrant heritage in the state of Connecticut,” and also has said that its,
mission is to serve the community by improving access to social services, to educational and career opportunities for immigrants, Polish Americans and others, and by promoting Polish cultural heritage and inter-ethnic understanding. While our special focus is on promoting Polish cultural heritage and assisting new immigrants, we serve all ethnic groups and communities.
The Polish American Foundation is based at the historic Sloper-Wesoly House at 27 Grove Hill, off of West Main Street in New Britain.
