Hole in the Wall to Host Ceilidh 2020
In the run up to St. Patrick’s Day, the Hole in the Wall Theater is hosting its Ceilidh musical event, inviting people to listen, dance and enjoy.
“Experience a night of traditional and contemporary Celtic music from the Hole in the Wall community!” the Theater says. A Ceilidh, pronounced “kay-lee,” is a traditional, Scottish or Irish Celtic social gathering.
The Theater’s “Ceilidh 2020” is to be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 7:00pm at the Theater.
“Hosted by Bill Arnold of The Rude Mechanicals,” the Theater says, “the casual, social atmosphere makes this a recurring HITW favorite. Come dance, mingle, and sing bawdy drinking songs loud enough that they’ll hear it across the pond!”
General admission tickets for the event are $20.
Tickets are available at the Theater’s online tickets web page. The Theater says that reservations can be made by calling 860-229-3049. “For phone reservations,” the Theater says, “please make sure to leave your name, the date of the performance, number and type of tickets (GA, student, or senior), phone number, as well as your email address so that we can send you a confirmation.”
The Theater also says that, “Tickets can also be purchased at the door on performance nights with cash or credit card.”
The Hole in the Wall Theater has said that it, “has been a staple of the New Britain arts community for over 40 years. Through the hundreds of shows we’ve produced, our mission has always been to make theater accessible to everyone.”
The Hole in the Wall Theater is located at 116 Main Street.
