CANCELLED: Maple Sugaring Pancake Breakfast at Hungerford
Editor’s note (3/12/2020): The New Britain Youth Museum at Hungerford Park announced today that its Maple Sugaring Pancake Breakfast has been cancelled.
it is maple sugaring season, and the New Britain Youth Museum at Hungerford Park will be hosting a Maple Sugaring Pancake Breakfast event.
The Museum invites people to, “Learn about the maple sugaring process,” at the event.
The event is Saturday, March 14, 2020, from 8:30am to 11:30am. It will be held at the Hungerford Park Nature Center.
“Come join us for all the pancakes you can eat!” says the Museum. “Pure maple syrup and beverages are included.”
Guests are also invited to visit with the Hungerford Park Nature Center’s animals.
For Museum members, the event is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages two to eleven. For non-members, the event is $10 for adults and $6 for children. The event is free for children under two years of age.
The Museum says that, “Tickets can be purchased the day of the event.”
The New Britain Youth Museum has said that the Hungerford Park Nature Center, “offers educational programming, exhibits and special events that relate to environmental education, biological and animal sciences, and STEM.” The Museum adds that the Nature Center, “maintains 27 acres of guided woodland and interpretive gardens that support a variety of native and cultivated plant species.”
