New Britain Museum of American Art Temporarily Closing Due to COVID-19
The New Britain Museum of American Art has announced that it will close until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Museum had announced yesterday that it would be cancelling its public programs, but would would, “remain open to the public.” But the Museum had noted that, “we are continuing to adapt and monitor.”
As of, March 15, 2020, the Museum announced that,
In support of the ongoing efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, the New Britain Museum of American Art is suspending all operations, effective Sunday, March 15, and will remain closed to the public until further notice.
All museum events are cancelled through at least April 5. If you have previously purchased tickets to a museum program, no action is required; all pre-purchased tickets will be honored once a reschedule date is established.
