New Britain High School Boys Basketball has announced that it will be holding basketball clinics this summer for 3rd to 8th grade students.
The “Hurricanes Basketball Clinic” is to be in two, one-week sessions.
The Consolidated School District of New Britain says that the program is to be presented by, “NBHS Boys Basketball Head Coach Kurt Reis and his coaching staff.”
The session from August 3rd to 6th is to be for 3rd to 5th grade students.
The second session, for students grades 6 to 8, is to be from August 10th to 13th.
The clinics are to run from 9:00am to 12:00pm. They are to take place in the NBHS Lower Gym.
The program says that, “The cost is $75 per student – breakfast and lunch are included. You can pay by cash, check, or money order payable to NBHS Boys Basketball. Please mail payment to the following address: New Britain High School, Attn: Kurt Reis, 110 Mill Street, New Britain, CT 06051.”
The school district is directing those interested to an online sign-up form.
The program reminds participants that, “all precautions related to COVID-19 will be taken.”
