The 2020 Summer Music Series is planned to feature “Leaf Jumpers” at its Wednesday concert at New Britain’s historic Walnut Hill Park.
The “Leaf Jumpers” scheduled to perform on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, say that they play, “the rock hits of the 90’s through today, Leaf Jumpers mix all of your favorite hits with their own modern originals to put on a great show every time!”
The music series offers performances on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from July 1st to August 31st. The performances are from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
For many New Britain residents, enjoying evenings of live music played at the Darius Miller Bandshell is one of the joys of summer, and it is one of the activities returning after the shut downs from COVID-19 pandemic.
Of course, concert goers may wish to check the weather and Parks and Recreation’s Facebook page to confirm the performance for Wednesday evening.
City Parks and Recreation has said that, “masks and social distancing required.”
