Racial Justice Coalition Plans Free Breakfast – POSTPONED

Editor’s note (8/28/2020): The New Britain Racial Justice Coalition has announced that its August 29, 2020 community breakfast has been canceled and will be postponed to a different date.

The New Britain Racial Justice Coalition (NBRJC) has announced that it plans to hold a free breakfast event to, “build community.”

“Please join the NBRJC in our first breakfast event!” the Coalition said. “Come by and get to know us + build community with New Britain residents!”

The breakfast is planned for Saturday, August 29, 2020, from 10:00am to 12:00pm. It is to be held at 147 West Main Street.

The Coalition says that it is looking for volunteers and donations to help carry out the event.

“It is our first event in uniting and helping our city!” said the organization. “We do need all hands on deck!”

For donations, the Coalition says, “Please Venmo @Victor-Constanza. On the Description please write your full name and ‘Breakfast’. All Donations will be public information on here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hI829T2KDSPOiNXxBDm0kn7eUHuvJ6QjlZ0Xybp2EJQ/edit?usp=sharing

The Coalition says that, “All Donations that will not be used will just carry over to the next Breakfast or community giving only events.”
