The Boys and Girls Club of New Britain has announced that registration is available for the Biddy Instructional Basketball League.
“The Biddy Basketball League, sponsored by the Ryan T. Lee Foundation, is open to boys (ages 6-10) & girls (ages 6-11),” the Boys and Girls Club says.
The tentative date when the program is to begin is Saturday, March 20, 2021, but the organization says that them, “date may change.”
“Children will learn basketball fundamentals and teamwork through practice & game play,” the organization says about the program, adding that, “The leagues consist of 2 divisions NBA East (for 6 to 8 year olds) and NBA All-Stars (for 9 & 11 year olds).”
The Boys and Girls Club says that the program is free for members and $50 for non-members. Registration information is on the organization’s website.
