New Britain Parks and Recreation is planning to hold the annual Rose Garden Festival in Walnut Hill Park this month.
The 21 and older event is to feature live music, local food and a beer garden, event organizers say.
“The Rose Garden Festival has typically hosted over 1000 attendees that dine and dance amongst hundreds of multi-colored, full bloom roses for five hours on a warm summer night in June at historic Walnut Hill Park,” the events registration website says.
The event is to be on Saturday, June 19, 2021. It is to be held from 5:00pm to 10:00pm in Walnut Hill Park.
The event page says that the band “Shaded Soul” will begin playing at 5:00pm, followed by the “Silver Arrow Band” at 7:00pm.
Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door.
