New Britain Parks and Recreation has announced that its summer pool parties are to begin at the two city park pools.
The first of the pool parties is to be held this Friday, July 9, 2021. The events are planned to be from 6:00pm to 7:45pm at each of the city’s park pools. The parties were to begin on July 2nd, but that event was cancelled due to inclement weather.
Parks and Recreation promises fun evenings, with a, “DJ, dance party, and inflatable tubes.”
Admission, Parks and Recreation says, is $3 per child and $4 per adult, also reminding people that, “bathing suits required on pool deck.”
The city pools are located at:
- Willow Brook Park Pool at 200 Mill Street.
- A.W. Stanley Park Pool at 2159 Stanley Street
The pool parties are to continue each Friday until August 13th.
