100 Black Man March Held for Unity

Local ministers led dozens of residents in a 100 Black Man March for Unity, raising attention to issues of economic empowerment, education and opposing racism.

“We are more powerful together than when we stand alone,” organizers of the March had said.

The March started a Central Park, in downtown, went up Main Street, to East Main Street, to Martin Luther King Boulevard and North Street, before returning to downtown.

The March concluded at the South Church, where marchers enjoyed a cookout.
