New Britain Forum To Feature Samuel Simmons, Michele Stewart-Copes and Tim Feeney

Samuel Simmons, Michele Stewart-Copes and Tim Feeney are to be featured on the next edition of the New Britain Forum by the New Britain Progressive.

The New Britain Forum, hosted by John McNamara, is the New Britain Progressive‘s TV-style online news talk show.

Simmons, Stewart-Copes and Feeney will discuss the community work of the Spott Unlimited, including the organization’s “Grab and Go” meal program, created to help address hunger in the community.

The show is to be broadcast live on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 10:00am on the New Britain Progressive website at newbritainindependent.com.

The “Grab and Go” meals, packaged in styrofoam containers are distributed weekly at the Pride of Connecticut Elks lodge at 24 Elm Street. The distribution events are from 5:00pm to 6:00pm each Thursday.

The Spott Unlimited, Inc. says that the program not only provides for food needs, but also a Blessing Table, toiletries, socks, costs hats and gloves and other items, other services, and, “The Recovery Support Services Program will have a manned resource table available to respond to any questions that may be asked by, or for any individual or family needs and referrals.”

The Spott Unlimited is also hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Pride of Connecticut Elks on February 17, 2022, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. The Pride of Connecticut Elks lodge is located at 24 Elm Street.
