Memberships are an important part of supporting the Civil Rights and advocacy work of the NAACP, which the organizations says,

is to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons.

The NAACP was founded in 1909 and is the nation’s oldest and largest nonpartisan civil rights organization.

The NAACP has published an online membership form at https://forms.gle/B7m5ft2zF2NyucFx7. The form is needed for membership information, alongside of the annual membership fee of $30.

Payment of the membership fee can be made via Cash App at $NAACPNB or PayPal at PayPal.me/NAACP2006NewBritain.

The NAACP’s annual autumn Freedom Fund Dinner event has historically been the focus of accepting annual membership renewals and donations. Like many with other organizations, large public events have not been possible.

Also like with many other organizations, the NAACP’s efforts have largely gone online. So, the New Britain Branch of the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization is seeking to inspire new and renewing members to join its efforts online.
