“The Full Monty” Next Play at the Connecticut Theatre Company
The next production by New Britain’s Connecticut Theatre Company is the play, “The Full Monty,” opening on June 24, 2022.
The Theatre says that the play is about, “a group of unemployed steelworkers from Buffalo,” who, after, “spying on their wives at a ‘Girls’ Night Out’,” are, “Jealous, out of work and feeling emasculated.”
So, the Theater says, “the men come up with a bold and unclothed way to make some quick cash,” and as, “they conquer their fears, self-consciousness and prejudices, the men come to discover that they’re stronger as a group.”
The cast for the Connecticut Theatre Company’s production of the play includes Tullio Milani as “Jerry Lukowski”, Tyler Gay as “Nathan Lukowski”, Natalie Partola as “Pam Lukowski”, Carl Canella as “Dave Bukatinsky”, Becky McLean as “Georgie Bukatinsky”, David Nunner as “Harold Nichols”, Sheila Duckworth as “Vicki Nichols”, Kevin Kiley as “Malcolm Macgregor”, Brendon Rogers as “Ethan Girard”, Staci Battle as “Noah ‘Horse’ T. Simmons” and Michelle Rocheford Johnston as “Jeanette Burmeister”.
Mark O’Donnell performs as “Teddy Slaughter”/”Reg Willoughby”, Kim Saltzman as “Molly Macgregor”, Peter Doheny as “Buddy ‘Keno’ Walsh”, Emma Gulick as “Estelle Genovese”, Alexis Thomasi as “Susan Hershey” and Khara Hoyer as “Joanie Lish”.
The play’s ensemble includes Galen Donovan, Lauren Hyne, Julia Leba, Molly Leonard, Monica Sleister, Angela Williams and, performing on open night, Erin Frechette.
The production opens on June 24, 2022, is to have eight performances through July 10th.

The Connecticut Theatre Company says it, “was formed in 2013 by the members and directors of two local community theatre groups, Bristol Theatre Arts and the New Britain Repertory Theatre group.”
Saying that it is, “a 100% volunteer-based organization,” the Theatre says it, “is a performing arts group that is dedicated to entertaining, educating and supporting our community.”
“While all theatres are based around performing arts, Connecticut Theatre Company is dedicated to finding and pursuing opportunities to partner with other entities for the betterment of the community,” the Theatre says.
The Connecticut Theatre Company is located at the The Repertory Theatre in New Britain at 23 Norden Street.
