Four Organizations and Agencies to hold Open House Saturday at New East Side Location
NEW BRITAIN – Two community service organizations, a youth and family counseling center and an insurance agency will hold an Open House from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at their new offices on Woodland Street on Saturday, October 1.
The public is invited to the open house at 35 Woodland Street to learn more about the New Britain Racial Justice Coalition, the Safety Usually Resolves Everything (SURE) Program, Insight of New England Counseling Center and Angelo Insurance Agency.
New Britain Racial Justice Coalition (NBRJC) is a grassroots volunteer organization engaged in political education, mutual aid and community organizing active in the city since 2020.
The SURE Program is a newly-formed nonprofit that provides mentoring and educational services to youth, families and providers.
The host organizations will provide information on their services to the community, according to Candyce Scott, a counselor at Insight of New England and founder of the SURE program. Refreshments will be served.
