Overcast skies and cool temperatures could not keep away tens of thousands from enjoying the 2023 Little Poland Festival on Broad Street.
Once again, thousands of people from New Britain, the state and beyond thronged New Britain’s Little Poland neighborhood for the popular celebration of Polish culture, music and cuisine.
Music was everywhere in up and down Broad Street, from two official festival stages, as well as from the Belvedere Restaurant and other locations. The main stage was at the Haller Post, next to Sacred Heart Church.
Of course, festival goers enjoyed tasty food from many different vendors and organizations.

Festival organizers have said that the event, “is held on New Britain’s Broad Street stretching from the Washington Street to the Silver Street intersections with vendors, entertainment stages, and attractions spread out over 5 blocks!”
“From its humble beginnings,” Festival organizers have said that, “the Little Poland Festival has grown into one of the largest cultural events in the state and one of the largest Polish American festivals in the country.”
