CCSU Offers Summer “Tech It Out” Programs for Kids

“Does your middle- or high-school-age student need something to do for the rest of the summer?” Central Connecticut State University says. “The CCSU Office of Continuing Education can help! Register your student for the last session of our popular Tech it Out summer youth program from July 31 to Aug. 4.”

“Technology is everywhere in the world around us,” the CCSU Office of Continuing Education says, “so whatever interests your child, we hope to have a program where he or she can use technology and explore new ideas.”

CCSU says that,

Four STEAM-focused courses are available for various age groups: “Make Your Own 3D Game with Unity” and “Exploring the Cosmos” for rising seventh- through ninth-graders; “Air and Sea Academy: Explore Autonomous Flight & Underwater Robotics,” available to rising sixth- through 12th-graders; and “Rated E for E-Sports and G for Gamers,” available to ninth- through 12th-graders. The program tuition ranges from $275 to $375. Registration is available online at ce.ccsu.edu/youth-programs.
