“Pluto fans have a lot to celebrate,” says the CCSU Planetarium. “check out our next free public planetarium shows!”
The Planetarium says,
Pluto is spherical and orbits the Sun, but belongs to a large population of icy, rocky objects that are not planets. Why was Pluto was first classified as a planet? Gain an understanding of one of the most unique objects in our Solar System at our next free planetarium shows.
The Planetarium invites people on February 14, 2024 at 12:15pm and February 16, 2024 at 7:00pm.
The Planetarium adds,
Doors to the planetarium (Copernicus Hall Room 211) open 30 minutes before show time. Arrive at least 15 minutes early as the presentation starts promptly and there is no late admission once the lights are turned off.
“No food, drink or candy/gum,” the Planetarium adds.
The Planetarium also invites people, weather permitting, to join them after the evening show, “in observing through our telescopes.”
