The New Britain Public Library says that its Banned Book Club will be hosting a Movie Day.
The event is May 23, 2024 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
The Library says,
We’ll be taking a break from our planned book discussion to watch “The ABC’s of Book Banning”, a short film about the effects of book banning in schools and libraries on the children they serve. Afterwards, we’ll discuss our thoughts on the film! Popcorn will be served and registration is not required.
