New Britain ROOTS is hosting its 2025 Garden Crawl in September, saying, “Join us for a blooming evening at the annual Garden Crawl, where nature meets celebration!”
“This year’s theme is all about pollinators,” the organization says, “the essential creatures that keep our gardens (and lives) thriving. Enjoy a lively cocktail hour, self-guided garden tours, a live auction and more!”
New Britain ROOTS says that it,
began as an idea in 2013 to create hands-on experiences for students to learn about where their food comes from. Founded by executive director Joey Listro, today ROOTS promotes gardening, urban agriculture, food access, and education throughout New Britain to build a more just and equitable future through food for city residents.
