The New Britain Area League of Women Voters has announced that its 2019 Annual Meeting will discuss the topic of Neighborhood Revitalization Zones.
The League of Women Voters (LWV) are hosting guest speakers from the North-Oak NRZ and the Arch Area NRZ to discuss the role of NRZ, “And how can the LWV support their work?”
The LWV invites the public at no charge, adding, “Enjoy our strawberry shortcake.”
Neighborhood Revitalization Zones (NRZs) are community organizations, created under state law, to bring people in particular neighborhoods together to improve quality of life.
New Britain NRZs have been activity working to organize people in their neighborhoods.
The Annual Meeting will be on June 3, 2019. It will be held at 6:30pm in the New Britain Public Library Community Room.
The business of the LWV Annual Meeting will follow the panel discussion.
