‘The Road to Aracea’ Opening at HITW

New Britain’s Hole in the Wall Theater is opening its performance of the Kieran McGowan play, The Road to Aracea this week.

“Set on a typical evening in the sort of typical suburban home one finds clinging anxiously to cul de sacs as they go speeding throughout the Virgo Supercluster…,” the Theater introduces the play, about which it says,

Over the course of five scenes two seemingly star-crossed couples find themselves paired in different combinations on their way to the end of time, along the way telling supernatural tales with something increasingly unreliable to say about the nature of love, the necessity of uncertainty, and how each of us is haunted by both the living and the dead.

The Hole in the Wall Theater production of the play, directed by Francis A. Daley, is to be performed by Virginia Skinner, Shawn Murray, Al Bhatt and Erin Walsh.

The play opens on Friday, January 24, 2020, at 8:00pm. The show continues through February 15th.
