Hole in the Wall Presents “This Is Our Youth”

New Britain’s Hole in the Wall Theater will video stream the filmed performance of Kenneth Lonergan’s play, “This Is Our Youth,” this week.

“Set in New York in 1982,” the Theater says, “This Is Our Youth follows forty-eight hours in the lives of three very lost young souls.” The Theater says that,

This Is Our Youth is a living snapshot of the moment when many young people go out into the world on their own, armed only with the ideas and techniques they developed as teenagers—far more sophisticated than their parents realize, and far less effectual than they themselves can possibly imagine.

John Bosco reported on the Theater’s website that the pay, is set,

in early 80s Manhattan, the beginning of the Reagan Era! One has just stolen $15,000 from his tycoon father, and now the stage is set for decisions (not all of them good) to be made. A timeless tale of growing up and trying to find your place in this world that not ought to be missed!

Bosco reported that the performance, directed by Terrance J. Peters and produced by Jesse Burke, is performed by Tim Adams as “Dennis Ziegler”, C. S. Dunn as “Warren Straub” and Sarah Thorn as “Jessica Goldman”.

The Theater’s website says that the play, hosted with Wanderbard Theatre Guild, is to be video streams two times:

  • Friday, December 11, 2020 at 7:00pm.
  • Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 7:00pm.

The Theater says,
