YWCA Stand Against Racism to Discuss Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace
YWCA New Britain and the Greater New Britain Chamber of Commerce are holding the annual Stand Against Racism event, discussing equity and inclusion in the workplace.
The YWCA says that, “This FREE event with local business leaders will cover different ways to approach equity and inclusion in the workplace and explain why these efforts are so important.”
The event is to be moderated by Rosaida Morales Rosario, President of Rosario & Associates, LLC. Panelist include,
- Jason Howey, President & CEO, OKAY Industries
- Sarah Lewis, Vice President of Health Equity, Hartford HealthCare
- Nicole Sanders, Senior Equity and Talent Officer, Consolidated School District of New Britain
- Melanie Strout, Chair of FUEL, Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce
The event to be on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 8:00am. The YWCA has a web page for registration for the online event, saying, “Registered guests will receive a link to attend virtually.”
