New Britain Parks and Recreation has announced that there will be a โCelebrate New Britainโ festival in downtown New Britain in September of 2021.

The event is to be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 12:00pm to 10:00pm and on Sunday, September 26th from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
Event organizers say promote the event as incorporating themes of past city festivals, including Main Street USA, Oktoberfest and the downtown car show.
The event is to have three stages with entertainment.
On Saturday, September 25th, event organizers say that the main stage is to feature:

- โTimmy Maia Experience (Dance Hits) 2:00PM โ 3:30PMโ
- โLeMixx (R&B/Soul) 4:00PM โ 5:30PMโ
- โLarry Stevens Band (Classic Rock) 6:00PM โ 7:30PMโ
- โDr. Kโs Motown Revue (Classic Soul) 8:00PM โ 10:00PMโ
Also on Saturday, event organizers say that the kids stage will present:

On the community stage on Saturday, event organizers say, is to be:

Then, on Sunday, event organizers say, the main stage is to have:

The kids stage Sunday presentation, event organizers say, is to be:

The community stage, on Sunday, is to present:

Organizers say that the event, held in New Britainโs downtown, is also to include a kidsโ zone, food vendors, a beer and wine garden, a car show and a laser light show.
Event parking, organizers say, is available in the city parking garages at 25 Washington Street, 35 Bank Street and 14 Liberty Square.
The city has also scheduled a Sesquicentennial Parade on Friday, September 24th at 6:00pm.
