Making a Side Table at Diaspora’s “Craft & Sip”
The Diaspora Multicultural Society is holding a “Craft & Sip” event at which participants can make their own new end table.
“Join us for some crafting fun!” the Diaspora Society says. “Make someone a gift or make for yourself as an accent piece to match your decor.”
The event is April 30, 2021. It is to begin at 7:00pm at the Diaspora Multicultural Society.
The Society says that tickets for the event are $30 per person, adding that, “All materials are included to make your own version of an adorable end/side table/plant stand,” and that, “Your first beverage is also included!”
Tickets for the event, the Society says, are available on the Facebook page for the event, “or Cashapp $30pp to $DiasporaMS and note ‘craft’.”
The Diaspora Multicultural Society, Inc. says that it, “is a diverse social club that hosts events that appeal to many interests- from socially conscious programming to partying/laid back good times.”
The organization is well known for its annual Multicultural Festival which it has said, “further serves Diaspora’s mission of bringing together a diverse crowd to commingle and build community.”
The Diaspora Multicultural Society is located at 90 John Street in New Britain’s East Side.
