The Art League is hosting an Opening Reception for on Friday, December 10, 2021 at its location on Cedar Street. The Reception is to be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
The exhibit will feature artists, Patricia Corbett, Jon Sideriadis, Lindsay Vigue and Kim Villanti.
The Art League’s promotion of the event says that Patricia Louise Corbett

Jon Sideriadis, the League’s promotion quotes,
is an award-winning author, illustrator, and professor. He is also the Art Director of the Spartan Museum of America. His specialty is mythological art and storytelling. Lindsay Vigue says,
Life is a great adventure and documenting this beautiful universe has allowed me to have my own unique perspective on life, people and the planet. My Canon was by my side when I jumped off the Great Wall of China, away from the tourists and ventured out into the loneliness of the 2,000 year old ruins.
The League says that show dates for the exhibit are from December 10th to Sunday, January 9, 2022. Gallery hours are Saturdays and Sundays, from 1:00pm to 3:30, but, League says, the, “Gallery will be closed Christmas day, Sunday 12/26, and January 1st.”
“Free and open to the public,” the League says, but invites people to, “Consider including ALNB in your estate planning.”
“The Art League of New Britain, a non-profit organization, is the second oldest art league in the United States,” the Art League says. “Founded in 1928, its original mission was as an art school holding both day and evening sessions. In 1934 it transitioned into an art club where artists could work together and gather for social affairs.”
The Art League of New Britain is located at 30 Cedar Street.
