Summer Music Series: “Avenue Groove”

Editor’s Note: This article is about the 2023 season of the New Britain Summer Music Series, but the listing, below, is for the 2024 season. The article on the 2024 season can be found here.

The 2023 Summer Music Series is planned to feature, “Avenue Groove,” at an upcoming concert at New Britain’s historic Walnut Hill Park. The band, Parks and Recreation says, performs R&B, funk and dance music.

The music series offers performances on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from July 3th to August 30th. The performances are from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

For many New Britain residents, enjoying evenings of live music played at the Darius Miller Bandshell is one of the joys of summer.
