New Britain Police to Hold Stuff-a-Cruiser Events to Benefit Thanksgiving Dinner for Those in Need
The New Britain Police are hosting “Stuff-a-cruiser events”, saying, “Thanksgiving is fast approaching and the New Britain Police Department will be collecting food donations. We are thankful we can be of service to our community in this way.”
“Asking how you can support?” the Police say. “You can find us outside Costco on the following dates: 10/28, 10/29, 11/4 and 11/5. Can’t make those dates or times? Donations can be dropped off in our front lobby any day or time!”
The Police say that they are collecting boxes of stuffing, canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, ziti, pasta sauce, bottled water, gift cards, grated cheese, canned yams, instant potatoes, jars of turkey gravy, aluminum pans and plastic utensils, as well as monetary donations.
“We look forward to seeing the many families and people positively impacted!” the Police say.
Editor’s note: The public notice did not appear include the times of the events. Times noted, here, are from last year’s article and may not be correct.
